Description

De Palma denkt Corneaus LIEBE UND INTRIGEN konsequent zu Ende und hat so mehr als ein Remake abgeliefert, das ist eine veritable Neuinterpretation mit allem was de Palma am Herzen liegt: Sex, Crime und viele doppelt-doppelte Böden. Fand ich gut, beide Hauptdarstellerinnen waren grandios, die Ausstattung "kostenbewusst", aber nicht ohne eine gewisse unpersönliche Form von Stil. Allein der Umstand, dass der Film wegen der Fördergelder in Berlin spielt, hat die 9 Punkte verhindert. Berlin und die dazugehörigen Schauspieler passen gar nicht zum Sujet, aber was soll's, die Zeiten sind hart für Autorenfilmer ;-)
